At the moment we offer three Public Classes – Horseshoe Knife, Bottle Opener, and Blacksmith Mastery.

We can accommodate up to 10 people in our Public Classes. Larger groups will need to book a private event.

Introducing our newest curriculum! Never again will you have to look for a bottle of wine and glasses in two separate places. Your functional wine caddy will double as an artistic centerpiece to brag about to all your friends.

Damascus Steel Ring

Damascus Steel Ring

Join up to 6 other participants and forge your very own ring! This course takes the timeless skills of blacksmithing along with the delicate precision of jewelry making to create a once in a lifetime experience. Begin with a chunk of Damascus stainless steel (made in-house!) and forge your way to a unique, fitted ring to take home the very same day.

$175 per Adult

This public enrollment experience is 3.5 hours.

Twisted metal bottle opener blacksmith class

Bottle Opener

Begin with a rod of steel and make your very own functional bottle opener! Learn an exciting array of techniques such as twisting, bending, scrolling, and tapering hot steel. If anyone in your group doesn’t drink alcohol, we’ll help them make a towel/coat hook instead.

Horseshoe Knife Forging Seattle

Horseshoe Knife

Begin with half a horseshoe and walk away with the coolest knife you’ve ever seen! Perfect for a steak knife, paring knife, or box cutter. In case it’s not enough to forge a knife, you’ll also use some super fun power tools such as belt sanders.

$80 per Adult | $40 per Child

Most fulfilling and exciting of all options simply because you’ll see a horseshoe transform into a beautiful knife. Great option if you enjoy a bit of critical thinking and something truly unique.

Blacksmith Mastery: Fundamentals

Designed and led by a blacksmithing veteran with 20 years of experience, this 1-day (8 hours) advanced course dives deep into the tools and techniques fundamental to metal forging. Students will learn tapering, hot-cutting, twisting, scrolling & bending, forging nail headers, proper use of a drill press, and other cornerstone blacksmithing techniques.

Age Requirement: 16 years or older

$180 per person

Must complete one of our 3-hour experiences to be eligible for the Mastery Class.

What to

Our experiences are specifically designed to suit all levels of physicality, age, and experience. The vast majority of our students have never held a hammer, yet we have yet to see a single person fail to succeed. Don’t believe us? Read our reviews on Google, Yelp, and Facebook.

Absolutely no prior experience required.

We welcome students of all ages, but prefer if your blacksmith is at least 4 years old.

All classes are 3 hours long.

We provide all of the materials you need for your experience.

We have plenty of free on-site parking
