Public Classes
Our public classes are the perfect opportunity to become a blacksmith for a day. Suitable for all ages 6+ (unless otherwise noted) and no experience required, these are perfect blacksmithing classes for beginners.

Choose your Forging Class

Flower Bouquet
Forge a beautiful flower bouquet…out of steel! Using a variety of techniques such as texturing, dishing, shaping, and riveting, you will forge a beautiful memory to take home the very same day.
$90 per Person
We also offer a private version of this course.

Damascus Steel Ring
Join up to 5 other participants and forge your very own ring! This course takes the timeless skills of blacksmithing along with the delicate precision of jewelry making to create a once in a lifetime experience. Begin with a chunk of Damascus stainless steel (made in-house!) and forge your way to a unique, fitted ring to take home the very same day.
$175 per Person
This public enrollment experience is 3.5 hours.

Bottle Opener
Begin with a rod of steel and make your very own functional bottle opener! Learn an exciting array of techniques such as twisting, bending, scrolling, and tapering hot steel. If anyone in your group doesn’t drink alcohol, we’ll help them make a towel/coat hook instead.
Least physical of all options.

Horseshoe Knife
Begin with half a horseshoe and walk away with the coolest knife you’ve ever seen! Perfect for a steak knife, paring knife, or box cutter. In case it’s not enough to forge a knife, you’ll also use some super fun power tools such as belt sanders.
$80 per Adult | $40 per Child
Most fulfilling and exciting of all options simply because you’ll see a horseshoe transform into a beautiful knife. Great option if you enjoy a bit of critical thinking and something truly unique.

Blacksmith Mastery: Fundamentals
Designed and led by a blacksmithing veteran with 20 years of experience, this 1-day (8 hours) advanced course dives deep into the tools and techniques fundamental to metal forging. Students will learn tapering, hot-cutting, twisting, scrolling & bending, forging nail headers, proper use of a drill press, and other cornerstone blacksmithing techniques.
Age Requirement: 16 years or older
$180 per Person
Must complete one of our 3-hour experiences to be eligible for the Mastery Class.
